The story itself is several days old already, but as far as I know it got little attention back when it was published. In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube said he’s so ready to star in a big-screen version of “The A-Team.”
As you may have guessed already, Cube is eyeing the role of Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus, the character originally played by Mr. T. “Man, I am so ready to play ‘B.A.’ Baracus. I was a big, big Mr. T fan,” Cube told the La Times.
Attached to direct the project is John Singleton, who previously worked with Cube on 1991’s “Boyz n the Hood.” He said working with the director on an “A-Team” flick would definitely be his priority.

Mr. T has denied a recently pulled ad for a candy bar was homophobic - insisting he didn't mean to offend people.
The actor - real name Laurence Tureaud - shoots Snickers bars at a speed walker in the `Get Some Nuts' commercial, before yelling, "You are a disgrace to the man race. It's time to run like a real man."
The ad was subsequently axed from British TV screens last month after upsetting gay groups.
But The A-Team star denies the advert was homophobic.
He says, "I am not homophobic. I'm not a gay basher. I didn't say anything that was negative, derogatory or malicious.
"I would never do a commercial if I thought it was going to offend anyone."

A woman accused of stealing money from the late Charlton Heston has been sentenced to more than five years in jail.
Sharon M. Walker, 56, gained access to Heston and his wife's financial information after working at a business management firm, where she was a manager.
She allegedly used her position to embezzle $158,000 (GBP79,000) from the acting legend's account, plus another $568,000 (GBP284,000) from The A-Team TV producer Stephen J. Cannell.
Prosecutors claim she forged signatures to pay her credit card debts for six years between 1999 and 2005.
Appearing at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, Walker pleaded no contest to two counts of grand theft and one count of tax evasion.
A judge sentenced her to time behind bars, as well as ordering her to pay back almost $82,000 (GBP41,000) in unpaid taxes.
